Bonnie Kaye, M.Ed. Straight/Gay Couples Counselor
|
Bonnie Kaye, M.Ed. - BonKaye@aol.com
My name is Bonnie Kaye, M.Ed. I am the author of five books in the specialty field of straight/gay marriages,
an area which I am viewed as an international expert. After I paid to have my fourth book published in 2006 by
Airleaf Publishing, which turned out to be a predatory publisher, I did extensive research before finding a
publisher for my fifth book. I looked into over 45 companies and focused in on eight of them that met my
publishing needs. After narrowing my choices down to three companies, I had an in-depth conversation with
all three company owners. I chose to go with CCB Publishing based on the integrity of the owner, Paul Rabinovitch,
and his vast experience as a traditional publishing house.
Working with CCB is an author's dream. There is constant communication with the company on a daily basis as
your book is getting ready for print. If you have a question, you get a timely response within hours. CCB takes
the time to go through your manuscript and makes excellent suggestions. My book, How I Made My Husband Gay:
Myths About Straight Wives, was ready within 4 weeks--unheard of with any other publishing company.
When I compared prices, CCB is the most reasonable of all for the money you pay. The time and effort that
Paul puts in with each author is amazing. My faith in the publishing world has been restored.
In the past three years since finding CCB, I have published four new books and republished one book.
Each experience I have had has been equally incredible. My books are now having greater distribution than
ever before not only in the United States, but also in Canada and Europe. My royalties come to me on the day
they are due. I am earning much more in royalties than I did with previous publishers such as iUniverse and AuthorHouse.
Best of all, I have recommended over 40 authors who were previously published to CCB, and they have republished
old books and published new books through the company. Each time one of these authors comes to me to thank me for
finding this wonderful gem of a publisher, it makes me so proud to be part of this publishing house.
I strongly recommend CCB to any author who is looking for a quality product at a quality price. No company
can beat their outstanding personalized service taking away the fears and anxiety of getting a book published.
For sure--nobody does it better!

To whom it may concern,
I have had the extreme pleasure and privilege to do business with Paul Rabinovitch of CCB Publishing for
many years as the publisher of my MATS Study Bible collection, and I would like to go on record to express my
sincere thankfulness to him. Paul is not only a gentleman in every respect, he is a man who is true to his word
and someone you can count on to go the extra mile, if need be, to help fulfill, to the best of his ability, all
his clients' needs. Paul will never lie to you or try to take advantage of you but will try his hardest to make
sure that every book he publishes is done properly in all aspects. Paul has a wealth of experience in the
publishing field and you can count on him to stand behind the quality of the books that are printed and if the
need arises that a book isn't just right, Paul will make it right. I do not know where he gets all his energy
from because he is on top of everything that is happening with CCB Publishing and all his clients 24/7. I trust
this man with my whole heart because he has proven to me his integrity by the passion of how he serves his clients
to do what is right every day. Although my communication with Paul for years has only been through email and I am
sad to say, I have never met him or spoken to Paul personally, I have come to think of him as a close friend who
truly has my back. Whatever one says about Paul Rabinovitch one can never say enough!
Sincerely,
William (Bill) H. Sanford

I had published my autobiography Snatched from the Fire with three different companies prior to
finally publishing with CCB. I had very disappointing experiences with all of the previous publishers: royalties
were stolen from me, I had to deal with unprofessional individuals, promises were made but never delivered, and
I wasted a lot of money.
I had given up all hope of living my dream of being a successful author. I was hurt, discouraged, and felt
as if all doors had closed in on my dream that I worked so hard to accomplish. Then God sent me to CCB Publishing
and I have had a very positive experience. Paul Rabinovitch has remained professional and always returns e-mails
in a prompt fashion. He has restored my dream and allowed me to bring my story back to life. CCB has produced a
professional product that I know will sell. I am so grateful!!!!
Thank You,
Patricia Amis

Having my latest book Psalms of the Pharaoh published has been an
outstanding experience. The courtesy, trust and patience that CCB Publishing shows to its writers are second to
none. Paul Rabinovitch exceeded my expectations by far.
After working with some other publishing companies in the past, I was very hesitant to put myself through
this whole process again due to my previous experiences. Honestly, I almost ended my writing career and along
with that, the dream of hopefully one day being discovered.
My feelings were changed, however, when fellow author Bonnie Kaye told me about CCB Publishing. I took a
chance and am very happy I did. Unlike other publishing companies who don't like to answer questions or don't
respond to e-mails until several days later, CCB is completely different. I was actually shocked at the response
time. In some cases, it was minutes later! They will answer all your questions, give you updates constantly and
you will never be lost or in the dark about what's going on. Paul is a true professional and like I said before,
it has been a wonderful experience.
I HIGHLY recommend CCB Publishing to any of you out there wondering about what company to choose and hoping
to get your book done right. This company does that and more. The cost is very fair compared to those I've worked
with before. In fact, I almost felt like the money I spent wasn't enough. You get more than you could possibly
imagine and as an added bonus, you get a great guy to help you along.

Working with Paul Rabinovitch and CCB Publishing has been a refreshing experience. I have now published two books
with CCB: The Chronicles of Major Peabody (2009) and The Aegis Conspiracy (2010).
Careful accurate production and rapid response to questions removes the pain from the labor of transforming a manuscript
to a printed book. Thanks, Paul.

A friend of mine recommended CCB Publishing for self-publishing my book Addy's Redemption,
and I have had an excellent experience with this company. As a first-time novelist, I needed help every
step of the way, and Paul Rabinovitch answered all my questions immediately and tirelessly. Some of Paul's
greatest virtues are: PATIENCE, RESPECT, and ENCOURAGEMENT for writers. It is very difficult getting your
manuscript read by a large publishing house today, let alone getting it published. Self-publishing has become
a very popular, viable solution for writers who believe in their work and long to see it in print. I had
explored other self-publishing options but none offered services equal to CCB Publishing. Once those other
companies got my name, they kept calling me several times a day. Paul, on the other hand, is very professional,
and does not "chase" clients as other companies might. He is in the business of helping writers, and he does
an amazing job.

There was a time when I felt I could never trust another publisher. This feeling came about due to a very
painful experience with another publisher who crushed my aspirations of seeing my work in print, like he crushed
the six hundred other authors who now belong to the Book of Excellence (B.O.E.) Group nationwide.
My bitterness has been lifted: replaced by an inspiration that I thought had left me.
You never gave false hope; in producing my book Controlling Fluctuations of Blood Glucose, Healing
and Preventing Nerve Damage with Baby’s Milk, somehow I started believing again.
This book would not have been produced were it not for your decency in dealing with me and your dedication
to your craft.
You guided the completion of my manuscript into a precious book with infinite patience, similar to a mentor
who taught a student the decisive steps.
You allowed me the time needed to review, to make changes, to delete, to make new additions and review again
and again until I was satisfied with what had been written.
You never rushed me. You never hinted how busy and precious your time was, with your multifaceted
responsibilities. As a result, my initial fear and apprehension were replaced by a pleasant feeling my
manuscript was in good hands.
You have been gracious.
These are some of your qualities and attributes that are not lost on me and which I deeply appreciate.
The Media Kit that you produced FREE with worldwide distribution channels and links with nationwide
retailers with CCB Publishing’s website is every author’s dream come true.
I felt you were on a mission to help develop my confidence and to be inspired once more. If this is so –
you have succeeded.
Nowadays I happily smile to myself while humming a favorite tune, thinking of future possibilities as
I start the Third Edition of this current book and an outline of a novel.
CCB Publishing had awakened my pen once again.
Paul Rabinovitch, you are a Godsend -- a treasure in the publishing world.
I send this testimonial with my highest esteem and continued best wishes.
Sincerely yours,
Leonida Lidman, Author

My association with CCB Publishing has been the most pleasant of my five publishing experiences. They gave prompt
and personal attention to my questions; they did everything possible to expedite the process; and they showed a
sincere desire to meet all my requirements in the publication of my book A Handbook for Heretics.
The finished product looks very professional and was completed much more quickly than my previous books. I will
be happy to return to your company with my next manuscript. Thank you sincerely for all you have done.

I had a unique experience recently. The company that had signed me to publish my book, The Autism Handbook,
suddenly decided to withdraw their contract. Since this is a non-fiction book, with timely information, I felt a panic
inside. It was a very depressing experience. I was aware of other companies to contact, but because of the time element,
I felt I needed to have my book published immediately. I did my research. I decided my best choice was CCB Publishing.
I contacted the company and had an immediate response. I shared my situation with Paul Rabinovitch. He offered me
encouragement and assured me he knew his company could meet the date I suggested to have my book ready.
I can only say, from the bottom of my heart, that Paul is an honest, genuinely caring, professional individual.
He walked me through the process and always remained positive. I had a second glitch in that I wanted my book
available in Spanish as well as English. The date of publication was closing in on us but Paul had both versions of
the book completed, before the due date.
Paul answered any and all of my questions and his responses were immediate. I did not need to wait two or three
days; generally, I received his response within an hour or two. Paul assisted me, without cost, in other areas that
were certainly not his obligation. I felt he did this in order to assist me to be more successful.
I do not feel like I am giving Paul the outstanding amount of credit he deserves. Maybe he is one of those
people who words cannot express what a phenomenal job they do. I can say this: I offer my highest recommendation
to Paul Rabinovitch and CCB Publishing. You will not find anyone else who meets the professional standards,
in all areas, that Paul and his company offer.

I cannot say enough positive things about Paul Rabinovitch and CCB Publishing. It was a rewarding experience to have
my book The Building Blocks to a Strong Marriage published.
When I reflect upon the horrible dishonesty and betrayal I experienced by my previous publisher, I am so grateful
that Bonnie Kaye recommended Paul to me. God used him to restore my confidence again. He was patient with my numerous
(and I mean numerous) revisions; he assured me that revisions were normal, and that it was his business to see that my
satisfaction with the final book was fulfilled. His encouraging me to take as much time as needed to be sure that my
book was exactly as I wanted it, meant the world to me.
Paul treated me with respect and honored me as though I was the most important or only author in the world. His
professionalism was impeccable, yet he was like a close friend or relative who had my best interest at heart and was
dedicated to making my book the best that it could be.
There was an immediate response (within an hour or two) to any communication or feedback from me. At my request, he
worked closely with me, offering helpful suggestions on choosing a good title, designing my book cover, and bringing to
my attention obvious mistakes I had overlooked.
Paul is a wonderful, caring Publisher. He is what every author is looking for to make his/her publishing dreams come
true. God bless you, Paul. May He continue to use you to bless many people. Keep up the good work.

The publication of my second book with CCB Publishing, Flight from Ein Sof, is ample evidence of the
trust I place in the expertise and meticulous care taken to produce consistently fine products and to bring them to
market in record time. This testimonial would not be complete without paying homage to Paul Rabinovitch for his
courtesy, astute guidance and tireless cooperation. A special thanks to Bonnie Kaye for making all this possible.

It has been a privilege working with CCB Publishing these past few weeks to publish my first book
Handgun Bullet Stopping Power. It is a very professional company with a great deal of talent that
made the whole publishing process very easy. Working with myself and my daughter Kelly, Paul Rabinovitch made my
dream of publishing this book come true. I cannot thank them enough for their quick responses, wonderful suggestions,
impeccable work, creative solutions and total overall execution. Again, I am amazed and very pleased with CCB
Publishing. I would recommend their services to any author who wants his/her book published. Lastly, a special thank you
must go to Bonnie Kaye for putting me in touch with CCB Publishing and for helping the many Airleaf victims like myself
to get back on their feet and get their work published.

I am ecstatic to have The Story of Lilly & Lou published. Paul Rabinovitch helped me turn one of my dreams into a reality.
I was impressed to see that he adjusts his advice and input based on each author’s specific needs. His expertise and
style lets you know that you are in excellent hands on this exciting journey. When I thought I would need to hire
someone for a particular task, Paul was there to help which saved me time and money. He was consistently prompt, clear
and professional with my many questions during this new venture. He shared my joy in knowing that having my book
published would open up many doors, and it already has in such a short time. The author who referred me was completely
accurate in her high praise and respect for such a distinguished company as CCB Publishing.

Working with CCB Publishing to publish my new book Snow Signs has been amazing! Paul Rabinovitch has been
great to work with. He is prompt and always returns my e-mails or phone calls. The work has been done professionally
and quickly. He has cautioned me to go slowly and make sure it is right---every step of the way. I can't say enough
about how nicely I've been treated. As a former Airleaf victim, I’d like to thank Bonnie Kaye for recommending CCB
Publishing to me.

After the agony of being victimized by Airleaf Publishing, it has been an incredible experience publishing with
CCB Publishing. I’d like to express a special thank you to Bonnie Kaye for the recommendation. With Airleaf, it
was impossible to communicate with the staff and obtain answers. In four months, they communicated with me a total
of 3 times—first, to ask me for money, second to tell me four months later that I was "right on schedule," and
after I received nothing from them, last, to deny my request for a refund.
Contacts to and from CCB Publishing: 78! (That’s seventy-eight folks!) All this communication was done within
the time frame of only 46 days! At that point my book, GRILL!, was print ready and up on the CCB
Publishing web site. Paul went above and beyond the call of duty. His response time was usually within hours. He
put up with my numerous questions and countless revisions. He made me feel that these questions and revisions were
an everyday process toward achieving a higher standard for the finished product. I’ve learned so much from working
with Paul and have regained the security and faith I had lost from being a victim with Airleaf. I am now looking
forward to completing my various unpublished and tucked away manuscripts. My faith has been restored thanks to his
professionalism. I can now go about my passion for writing with more confidence.
Thank you, Paul; you are truly a wonderful publisher and sincere human being. You are deserving of all the success
this world has to offer.

Getting my book in print for a reasonable price with integrity doesn’t come close to the outstanding service I
experienced in working with Paul Rabinovitch at CCB Publishing. I was an Airleaf victim and following Bonnie Kaye’s
advice was the best thing I could have done.
When I recall the dishonesty I experienced with Airleaf and the horrible delays with my book, lasting more than a
year, I can only say that Paul is a real breath of fresh air. I needed my book Our Puppet Government out
before the 2008 U.S. Presidential election, and this company had my book finished and in my hands in less than 45 days.
Proofing, finishing my cover and printing without one problem or delay - and what was so amazing is I never waited a
moment for an e-mail response.
I had sought marketing help from Airleaf for my previously published books – only to find I was lied to there also.
Although Paul does not propose to market your book, he has proven to be extremely helpful in assisting me with my own
marketing efforts to contact radio, TV, and other influential personalities. Thanks to Paul’s support, I have two radio
interviews scheduled, with two more reviewing my book, and hopefully more to come. I’m also on all the distributor lists
in the U.S. and abroad.
I don’t know what more I could say than I was blessed by taking Bonnie Kaye’s advice, and want to thank both Bonnie
and CCB Publishing for their integrity. If every publisher could follow CCB’s performance, there would be few problems
with authors ever reaching publication.

It is not often that I write a testimonial, but then again it is not often that I receive the level of professionalism
and attention to detail that I received from Paul Rabinovitch and CCB Publishing.
When I finished writing my third novel, Manhattan Serenade, I was in search of a reputable and reliable publisher.
My first two publishers, one of which was Airleaf, unfortunately did not rise to that level. Then a friend of mine and fellow author, Bonnie Kaye,
enthusiastically recommended her new publisher, CCB Publishing. From the moment I had my first telephone conversation with
Paul I knew that Bonnie was right and I had found myself someone I could work with.
During the entire revision period Paul was extremely patient, polite but most of all efficient. The e-mails were
answered promptly and all questions answered.
In my opinion, CCB Publishing is one of those unique publishers that really cares about making its authors look good
and getting the best product out into the literary market.
To paraphrase the current political adage: I am Joseph Steven and I approve of CCB Publishing.

My name is Sarah Harrison, EDS. Having written my first book, You Love Your Daddy, Don’t You? in 2006,
my goal was and still is to assist others who have suffered from child and sexual abuse in their lives.
The first attempt to publish my book with Airleaf was less than encouraging. They lied to me, took over $2,000
of my money and kept my manuscript for almost two years. I felt like giving up and never thought I’d ever see my book
in print. However I had many friends and associates encouraging me, wanting to know when they could purchase my book.
This is when my friend, Bonnie Kaye, who has helped other Airleaf victims suggested contacting CCB Publishing.
I am so grateful she did because it is like a dream to work with Paul Rabinovitch. He renewed my enthusiasm and made
me feel good about my book again. He understood my feelings and even helped me reword some phrases when I asked for
his help.
When we converse by email, it never takes him longer than a couple of hours to reply even if it is just to say that
he’s received my message and will get back to me in a timely manner.
I signed my contract in mid-February, and now before the end of March it is being printed. I have seen the first
copy and am so delighted. It has been a true pleasure to work with Paul. CCB Publishing also allows its authors to
have their books listed as “returnable” which encourages bookstores to purchase books. This is definitely an added
advantage to us authors. I will recommend CCB Publishing to everyone I know.

On the rebound from a bad experience with Airleaf, Bonnie Kaye suggested that I give CCB Publishing a look.
Somewhat reluctant after being taken by Airleaf, I decided to give CCB a try. Paul soon restored by faith
in the publishing industry. They started on my book immediately and never let up; e-mail after e-mail started flowing
in. I could feel myself getting excited about my book again. The communication with me was consistent throughout the
process, which was so much different from my first experience. My book, Devil Rising, is now in print.
Paul worked overtime to get it to me by Christmas. He is very precise and professional and I hope to
publish many more books with him. As I told him one day not too long ago; Paul, you are amazing. I only wish everyone
could have the pleasure of publishing a book with CCB.

This may be a strange thing for an author to say but words cannot express how wonderful it is to work with Paul.
He gives you faith in yourself, and he makes you feel as if you are important to him. I really appreciate his
patience and his friendship. We had such a close feeling in our working relationship that I can hardly believe
we've never met. I am so happy that I chose to have him publish my books. I can hardly believe I have 4 books out now
and I'm working on number 5.
I do know that without Paul, the books would still be a dream, but now they are a reality.

I have had the honour of working with CCB Publishing for the last three years and recently published my third book
Every Cat Has A Story, part of the Every Story series of books. The hands on expertise
is clearly evident through every aspect of the publishing process. A writer is never neglected, e-mails are quickly
answered and every book published shows the highest standards of a most gifted publisher.
For those encountering the frustrations typically found in other publishing companies, this will not be your
experience with CCB Publishing. Paul Rabinovitch is an ethical professional and CCB Publishing is an established
company that always delivers a quality product. Each writer’s individual creative process is respected and honoured
with a personalized service that goes far beyond any other company I have worked with in the publishing world.
